Chemigrams...
Some examples of Chemigrams... |
What are chemigrams??The Chemigram was invented in 1956 by Pierre Cordier, and it's a method of creating art with light sensitive paper, it combines painting and photography and requires the use of materials such as light sensitive paper, a developer and a fixer but even so it still isnt a photograph, like the photogram this process does not involve a camera or an enlarger, yet it is created in full light instead of in the darkness of the darkroom. The result of this process somewhat resembles watercolour however colour can be added by using materials from painting (varnish, wax, oil).
